Two upgraded HCK1200 are now shipping to a new customer
Haichen Machine has completed a major upgrade to our 1200-ton large injection molding machine. The new design improves stability, simplifies transport, and makes installation faster than ever.
Two of the upgraded 1200-ton machines were packed and shipped today to a new customer. Here is what has changed.
Three Key Upgrades
1. Wider bottom of template
We widened the bottom of the 1200-ton machine’s template. A wider template at the bottom gives the machine a stronger stance on the machine. This reduces vibration during high-pressure injection. It also keeps the machine stable when running at high speed. For large molds and heavy cycles, stability means better part quality and less wear on the machine.
2. Lower Machine Height
We also reduced the overall height of the machine. A lower height brings the center of gravity down. This makes the machine much more stable during operation. Large machines can shake or shift when they run fast. With a lower center of gravity, the 1200-ton machine stays solid and steady. This upgrade is especially important for customers who run continuous production.
3. Split Design for Easy Transport
The biggest change is the split design. We separated the injection unit and the clamping unit. When we ship the machine, the two units move as separate pieces. This makes transport much easier for large machines.
But here is the smart part – when the two units arrive at your factory, you only need to connect three quick-connect joints. That is it. No rewiring. No recalibration. No extra adjustments. Just connect the three joints, and the two units work as one complete machine.
This solves a big problem that many factories face with large equipment. Normally, shipping a 1200-ton machine requires special permits, oversized trucks, and days of reassembly at the destination. With our split design, transport is simpler, and setup takes hours instead of days.
Today’s Shipment
Two of the new upgraded 1200-ton machines were packed and loaded today. They are on their way to a new customer. This is the first shipment of this new design. We expect more orders to follow as more customers learn about the benefits.
